[+] 14 2026-07-17 AMENDED complaint by Disney Enterprises, Inc. against ROCKKI
15 2026-07-20 MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: This case has been assigned to Judge LaShonda A. Hunt. In light of Plaintiff's notice of withdrawal [13], Plaintiff's motion to seal [3] is withdrawn, and the Clerk is directed, forthwith, to unseal the document at [2]. By 8/11/26, Plaintiff is ordered to file a status report proposing next steps in this case, if no other appropriate relief has been sought by that date. Mailed notice (gel,)
16 2026-07-22 MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Upon review of Plaintiff's amended complaint [14], the Court questions whether Plaintiff has sufficiently alleged that the Court may exercise personal jurisdiction over Defendant. To adequately plead personal jurisdiction, Plaintiff must sufficiently allege that Defendant actually sold the allegedly infringing product to a customer in Illinois. See Liu v. Monthly, 170 F.4th 1090, 1093-1094 (7th Cir. 2026) (citing Curry v. Revolution Lab'ys, LLC, 949 F.3d 385, 400 (7th Cir. 2020)). Plaintiff's amended complaint alleges sales in this district, but those allegations are conclusory and Plaintiff did not provide proof of actual sales in this district. See id. (remanding with instructions to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction because plaintiff had not provided screenshot evidence of actual sales in Illinois). Accordingly, Plaintiff has not sufficiently alleged that the Court has personal jurisdiction over Defendant and must file proof of actual sales in Illinois by 7/29/26. Failure to do so will result in the amended complaint being dismissed without prejudice and this case being closed. Mailed notice (gel,)

18 2026-07-27 NOTICE of Motion by Martin Francis Trainor for presentment of motion for miscellaneous relief[17] before Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt on 8/5/2026 at 09:00 AM.
19 2026-07-28 MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Plaintiff has provided evidence that Defendant sold the allegedly infringing product to a customer in Illinois [17-2], so the Court's personal jurisdiction concerns are now resolved. Plaintiff's motion for leave to conduct expedited discovery [17] is granted because the Court finds that expedited discovery is warranted to obtain Defendant's contact information. Enter Order Authorizing Expedited Discovery. The motion hearing set for 8/5/26 [18] is stricken. If no other relief has been sought, Plaintiff is ordered to file a status report by 8/18/26 updating the Court on the progress of expedited discovery and proposed next steps in the case. Mailed notice (gel,)

[+] 24 2026-09-09 MEMORANDUM by Disney Enterprises, Inc. in support of motion for miscellaneous relief[23]
25 2026-09-09 NOTICE of Motion by Martin Francis Trainor for presentment of motion for miscellaneous relief[23] before Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt on 9/15/2026 at 09:00 AM.
26 2026-09-14 MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Plaintiff's motion for electronic service [23] is granted. The Hague Service Convention prohibits service by email in China. Kangol LLC v. Hangzhou Chuanyue Silk Import & Export Co., Ltd., 177 F.4th 793, 795 (7th Cir. 2026). However, the Hague Service Convention does not apply where a defendant's address is unknown and the plaintiff has made reasonably diligent efforts to ascertain and verify the defendant's mailing address. Id. at 799. Here, Plaintiff has shown that it has made reasonably diligent efforts to ascertain and verify Defendant's mailing address, which is unknown. Plaintiff's efforts are reflected in the sworn declaration of its counsel and in screenshots showing unsuccessful attempts to verify Defendant's address on Google, Google Maps, and Baidu Maps [24-5]. Accordingly, the Court finds that Plaintiff has demonstrated reasonable diligence. See Storylines Glob. Inc. v. Fong, No. 25-CV-01048 (MMG), 2025 WL 2943332, at *2 (S.D.N.Y. Oct. 17, 2025) ("Courts have found that searching the internet, calling known phone numbers, and conducting intensive investigations using multiple methods satisfies the reasonable diligence requirement."). The Court further finds that electronic service of process is consistent with due process because it is an effective way to communicate with online marketplace defendants. Enter Order Authorizing Electronic Service of Process. Motion hearing set for 9/15/26 [25] is stricken. A status report regarding next steps is due by 10/16/26, if other appropriate relief has not been sought by that date. Mailed notice (gel,)
